Toby Maguire (b.1975) will take up his role as Peter Parker/Spider-man once again in the highly anticipated third installment of director Sam Raimi’s Spider-man series. Once again we find Maguire’s character fighting crime and continuing his romance with Mary Jane Watson. After evidence shows villain Sandman responsible for killing his Uncle Ben, Spidey pursues with a vengeance. Meanwhile, astronaut John Jameson brings back a strange alien life form from space which forms an unusual symbiotic relationship with our hero.
Maguire was born in Santa Monica in 1975 and began his acting career in his early teens starring at first in television commercials and then expanding into TV and small movie roles. Maguire officially became a superstar after the release of the first Spider-man movie and has since starred in Spider-man 2, Seabiscuit, and The Good German. Maguire also has upcoming roles in The Quiet Type (2007) and Tokyo Suckerpunch (2008.)
