James Franco (b1978) will is once again casted as Harry Osborn (the New Goblin) and will be yet another thorn in Spider-man’s side in Spider-man 3. As Spider-man fans know, the character Osborn believe that Spidey killed his father, the Green Goblin, and is out for vengeance.
Franco first realized fame after grabbing the Golden Globe award for his performance as James Dean in the 2001 biographical TV film “James Dean.” A bit of trivia that Spider-man fans may not know, is that Franco was initially considered for the lead but was then selected instead to serve in the supporting role as Harry Osborn.
