Spider-man 3 is set to be released in May of 2007 and is the third film in the Spider-man franchise. Directed once again by Sam Raimi, the returning cast includes Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, and James Franco. The film also stars franchise newcomers Topher Grace, Bryce Dallas Howard and Thomas Haden Church. Costing $250 million dollars to make, Spider-man 3 has one of the most expensive budgets of all time.
In Spider-man 3 Peter Parker seems to have balanced his responsibilities as a superhero with his devotion to Mary Jane Watson. But then something of an evil and unknown influence appears. When his spidey-suit suddenly transforms, turning jet-black and enhancing his powers, it changes Peter as well, bringing out the dark, vengeful side of his personality. Under the power of the suit, Peter becomes arrogant and starts to neglect the people who care about him most. Forced to choose between the seductive power of the new suit and the compassionate hero he used to be, Peter must overcome his personal demons as two of the most-feared villains yet, Sandman and Venom, gather unparalleled power and a thirst for retribution to threaten Peter and everyone he loves.
Set to be released in May, 2007, Spider-man 3 is sure to live up to the hype.
